Checker Pattern Cutting Board

These unique checkered style cutting boards are the perfect match for your kitchen! We use a Cherry and Walnut combination (pictured) or Maple and Walnut combination to created the light and dark patterns.  Each board is made from the end grain wood and cut into the square block style for a solid and extremely durable cutting surface. Each board is pre-treated with a food-grade beeswax wax and mineral oil finish by Walrus Oil. This protects the wood from the elements while enhancing the true color and grain patterns.

This cutting board comes in various sizes from 8" x 12", 10" x 16" and 12" x 18" and each is 1.5" in thickness. Optional items include the non-slip rubber feet and juice groove. For boards set on a countertop, the rubber feet are highly recommended. 

All glues, oils and materials used to make these cutting boards are water resistant and food-safe. I use and recommend Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil for all of my boards. Each cutting board will ship with a 2-ounce bottle of Walrus Oil Cutting Board oil and a maintenance card.
